We are a PADI Scuba training facility, offering courses from basic open water diver all the way up to Scuba Instructor.

Our enclosed pool is right next door to the dive shop. With dive shop, classroom, and pool just up the hill from the lake where you complete open water dives, Scuba certification can be completed in less time (sometimes as quickly as three days), and nearly any time of the year.

Dive Adventures in Our Lake

The Airplane
An Airostar 601B rests in about 45 ft. of water. Find it below the blue buoy. This is a favorite dive, so try not to stir up the bottom on the way to the plane — someone wants to be able to see it after you. Over the wall is the road back to the Budweiser and the Four Doors.

Horseshoe Chimney
A vertical chimney you enter on the north wall at a depth of about 50 ft, then ascend to the surface through spring fed turquoise-blue water. It may be a bit of swim to get over to it, but this is a fun little adventure; open to the surface, it does not require cave training.

The Budweiser
A small open-bow boat resting at about 85 ft. Find her just off the line that drops down from the floating dock. Makes a good stop on a multi-level dive, heading back from the plane, just before you head up for your safety stop on the upper road. It’s a favorite place for intermediate freedivers to hit too.

Cabin Cruiser
Resting in 100 ft. of water, she can be found by following the line down from our 20 ft. deep hanging platform. Deeper dives demand careful planning; watch your time.

Four Doors
Large openings carved into the wall by miners lead into the old blacksmith shop. Please do not enter overhead environments unless you have cave specialty certification and all the essential equipment.

The Air Cave
Depending on water level, the entrance is usually below the surface 5-8 ft. A fun place to stop before or after your dive. The air here is captive and can get stale; be careful, don’t stay too long, and watch your head on the way in and out.

Misc. sights along the upper road
In addition to the other attractions indicated on this photo, here are a few more to look for (all found at depths suitable for new divers). Heading south from the entry point you’ll find: a statue of a gorilla, a computer workstation, several dive training platforms (below the white and red buoys), and what we call the Detroit graveyard. (If you find anything in the graveyard that’s in better shape than what you’re currently driving, you’re welcome to talk to us about salvage rights.)
